Chef Beverly has received numerous awards for her culinary accomplishments, such as, the 2004 James Beard Award Nominee: Best Chef Hawaii/Pacific Northwest; 2011 Gold Ai’pono Award: Best Hawaiian Regional Cuisine; The Maui News 2010 Best Chef and many, many more.  She has appeared on NBC's Today Show and The CBS Morning Show and was honored as the 2008 “Woman of Distinction” by the Girl Scouts of Hawaii.  Gannon's.



Chef James, a Philadelphia native, moved to Hawaii in 1980 and has never looked back.  He has been showcasing his Pacific Rim style of cuisines at 505 Front Street in Lahaina, Maui, for more than fifteen years.  He previously worked for the five-star Grand Hotel Quellenhof in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.  Chef James, a James Beard Nominee, has won numerous culinary awards, such as, the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence several times, the only Maui restaurant to be a recipient of the Distinguished Restaurants of North America Award, and Best Chef and cuisine awards from the Gourmet and Travel & Leisure magazines and local media.  Pacific'O Restaurant.



Chef David has become one of Hawaii’s brightest culinary stars because of his New Island Cuisine at David Paul’s Island Grill in Lahaina.  His culinary career started as a pizza parlor dish washer at the age of 14.  Two years later, in 1974, he met his mentor Max Mercier, who taught him the basics of French cooking.  Since opening the Lahaina Grill on February 14, 1990, Chef David’s culinary star has skyrocketed.  He has won a dozen consecutive Hale ‘Aina Awards from Honolulu Magazine for Best Maui Restaurant; was included in Gourmet Magazine’s “America’s Top Tables” issues in 1997 and 1998; was Bon Appétit Magazine’s “Restaurant of the Month” in February 1997; appeared on NBC's Today Show, the Great Chefs series on the Discovery Channel, cooked at the James Beard House in New York City and has received many awards and honors nationally and internationally.  David Paul’s Island Grill.



Chef Brian has been passionate about his skills in the kitchen since the age of 13.  He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and worked at some of New York City’s most distinguished restaurants and hotels, such as, the venerable Waldorf Astoria.  Diners rave about his restaurant Capische in Wailea, Maui, where he showcases his expertise in Italian/French cuisine.  He is a 5-time winner of Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence; a 2009’s Diners’ Choice Award; and among the numerous awards that he has won – Chef Brian won the 2008 Maui Nō Ka ʻOi Magazine’s Chef of the Year Award, voted by Hawaii’s top chefs.  Capische Restaurant.




Chef Ryan is Executive Chef at the Pineapple Grill where he is responsible for his award-winning Pacific Island Cuisine.  He previously worked for the Kapalua Grill and Bar, The Plantation House Restaurant, The Bay Club and The Westin Maui Resort and Spa.  His restaurant has won awards and critical-acclaim from diners, food writers and chefs.  He has won Honolulu Magazine’s Hale Aina Award “Best Maui Restaurant – 2010,” Maui Nō Ka ʻOi Magazine’s “Best Restaurant – 2009 and 2010,” and, in 2009, he was selected as one of the “12 young chefs to watch” by the Hawaii Hospitality magazine.  Pineapple Grill Restaurant.




Chef Susan began her nutrition and culinary career in the early 90’s.  After years of working with notable health professionals, she used her expertise in the kitchen to create menu plans for resorts and celebrities.  She went on to be an instructor at the Laguna Culinary Arts’ school.  Her students were home chefs and culinary professionals.  As the author of “Healthy School Lunch Action Guide,” she tours the country teaching students, parents and food service personnel that food is the best medicine.  Chef Susan's Website.




Chef Marc is Executive Chef at the Makena Beach and Golf Resort specializing in the fusion of exotic herbs and fragrant spices with fresh Hawaiian ingredients while creating new flavor profiles for the palette. He has previously held senior culinary positions at Grand Wailea Resort and most recently as the Executive Sous Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. In addition to his culinary skills, Chef Marc is a master gardener having developed organically exotic herb and vegetable gardens at The Ritz-Carlton, providing guests with garden to table items, a practice he is working to bring to Makena Beach and Golf Resort (formerly the Maui Prince Hotel).  Dining at the Makena.
